The Apple Tree is a community education project set up and run by home-educating parents and families in Bristol, seeking an experience for their children which fosters a love of learning through creativity, practical application and an exploration of the natural world.

We operate as a network of small tutor-led groups, divided by age, each working in a unique setting in East Bristol, with access to a garden classroom close to woodlands or nature reserve. Each group meets for 18 hours a week over three or four days a week, roughly following the Bristol academic year (33 weeks in total). Information about our individual groups can be found on the about us page.
